Respite Together

You’ve tried taking care of your needs, but can’t seem to catch your breath. You feel uninspired, tired of everything, and alone.

Fitting in time to explore your inner world feels impossible.

And yet...

You hear that tiny voice within asking for more from this existence. You remember a time when you were better able to cope with the demands of life and protect something just for you.

When someone talks about a transformative experience you envy the energy they’re filled with now. If only you could find a way to recharge and reconnect to yourself and life happening around you…

Dear Lovely Human,
Life in isolation steals our vitality. The world (and your obligations in it) will not freely let up the pressure.

If you'd like to take a break from the demands of everyday life to see what's possible when you connect with others in a healing and creative space, then Respite Together is for you.

We believe every person deserves to catch their breath.

We believe every person can enliven their inner world when given the space and tools.

We believe every person can create a trusted bond with themselves and others.

We invite you to imagine a future you who is more grounded in the present moment and more deeply connected to your life.

This version of you may still be bogged down with unsavory tasks, but is now looking up from them to exhale the stress and inhale the softness more often.

Respite Together is a special opportunity to come alongside other hurried souls and explore all the what if's you've whispered to yourself.

We're gathering at a beautiful estate just outside of Dallas, Texas the weekend of November 3-6, 2023.

We hope you'll consider joining us.

much love,
Elizabeth, Rebecca, & Sarah

Meet the Sisters

Sarah Durham, The Big Sister, believes every person holds a world within them while they navigate a big, ever-changing world outside of them. As a neurodivergent coach, Sarah is passionate about empowering people who are waking up each day feeling like they are too much or not enough. Sarah will help us connect to our imaginations and use art to access our inner worlds.

Elizabeth Brink, The Middle Sister, utilizes an integrated approach focused on self-acceptance and body awareness. She believes everyone has the ability to access the wisdom within them to fully embrace and celebrate themselves. As a certified neurodiversity and somatic coach, Elizabeth is passionate about supporting big emotions and tender nervous systems, and will guide our exploration of our nervous systems.

Rebecca Snyder, The Baby Sister, leads with her intuition and invites others to expand their long-held core beliefs and modes of operating. She brings decades of experience in body-based practices as a certified yoga instructor, certified death doula, and lifelong empath. Rebecca will help us deepen our alliance to the Self and nature through embodied practices.

COMMUNITY CARE EXPECTATIONS

We will challenge traditional thinking around what rest looks and feels like by sharing the responsibility to co-create this immersive experience of community care. Together, we will tend to the space, meals*, and one another throughout the weekend. We believe this intimate practice of tending to the bodily needs can be a wonderful way to connect with others and experience the community care we all need and deserve.

If you're new to community care, no experience is necessary. We'll be learning together how to support the needs of one another.

*As a group, we'll prepare two dinners together. They will be very low-key with the intention of giving us a new experience with care tasks. It's also a wonderful opportunity to connect side-by-side. Many hands make light work and more enjoyment!
